Madison County CASA Staff
A CASA is a Court Appointed Special Advocate who is a trained volunteer that helps children who are going through the court system, independent of the family and the state, to advocate for that child’s best future.
Hannah Snowden
Executive Director
A proud native Memphian, Hannah, her husband, and their four children have made Jackson their home since 2015.
Hannah received her BA in History and French from Millsaps College and her MS in Instruction and Curriculum from The University of Memphis.
Hannah’s professional experiences include stints as a classroom teacher and many years in the nonprofit world in a variety of roles ranging from directing a literacy program to creating leadership and team-building curricula to training and supervising program volunteers.
In 2017, Hannah was hired as Madison County CASA’s Volunteer and Case Manager. In July of 2019, she was hired as Madison County CASA’s Executive Director and has served in that position since that time.
During the last three years, the mission and work of Madison County CASA has become close and dear to Hannah’s heart. She is convinced that providing strong, child-focused advocacy for Madison County’s abused and neglected children not only strengthens the lives and the futures of the children themselves but of the Madison County community as a whole.
Toblin Tisdale
Case and Volunteer Manager
Toblin joined Madison County CASA in September of 2019 and is dedicated to the volunteers and to the children served by CASA.
Born and raised in Hardeman County, Tennessee as the middle child of small business owners, work ethic was instilled early in life. A graduate of Lane College and The University of Memphis, Toblin worked in the Madison County School System for almost seven years in regular and special education, spending the majority of time hands-on in the Montessori classroom. Toblin was a member of the emergency response team, a leader in implementing school fundraisers, and created a school song for the staff and student body.
Toblin brings seventeen years of customer service skills and training to CASA and enjoys implementing a strategy of “care and appreciation” to CASA as volunteers are advocating for children. Empathy and caring can be felt by the children, their families, foster families, and volunteers. Making sure they all are aware of how much they are appreciated and that CASA cares is important.
Aside from serving as the Case and Volunteer Manager, Toblin is also a local small business owner with hopes to write her first book in the next two years. She enjoys time with family, learning new things, volunteering with the American Cancer Society & the American Heart Association, traveling, decorating, trying new recipes, and creating floral arrangements.
Toblin’s largest passion is people. She enjoys helping people see a vision, helping people realize they have purpose, and helping them to become self-sufficient.

Kevin Adelsberger
Kevin Adelsberger is the founder of Adelsberger Marketing where they make creative work that grows their clients’ businesses in a culture that values their team and community of Jackson, Tennessee. In 2016, Kevin was recognized as an emerging leader by Leadership Jackson. In 2017, Adelsberger Marketing was named the Emerging Business of the Year by the Jackson Chamber and in 2020, Union University gave Kevin recognition for Disgusted Achievement in Arts and media.
Karen Linville Baker
Karen, a native Nashvillian, grew up raising, training, and showing horses. After graduating from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, she attended graduate school at the University of Memphis where she earned a M.S. in Counseling and Personnel Services, and a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology. She has four bright and talented children, each with their own unique and amazing personalities. As a faculty member at the University of Memphis, she enjoys turning students’ minds on to the wonders of psychology. Karen has served on the Madison County CASA Board since 2016.
Vadessa Flack
Vadessa Flack is a Client Relations Specialist at Manpower Mid-South. After graduating from Leadership Jackson in 2017, Vadessa has been very involved in the Jackson community, serving in various capacities in organizations including the Leadership Jackson Alumni Association, United Way of West Tennessee, American Heart Association, Jackson Chamber, TACL, Jackson Symphony League, Englewood Baptist Church, and more. Vadessa has been a Madison County CASA Board Member since 2019.
Jason Garrett
Since 2017, Jason has served as the dean of the McAfee School of Business at Union University. Jason oversees eight undergraduate and nine graduate offerings to help students fulfill their purpose. Jason’s role includes developing students and faculty while building community engagement for the school. Jason has served on the Madison County CASA Board since 2019.
Dennis Hornsby
Dennis Hornsby is the Operations Manager at Robert’s Jewelers. An alumni of Lambuth University, Dennis is also a GIA Graduate Gemologist. He has been married to his wife, Erin, since 2001. They have two boys, Cade and Miller. Dennis enjoys hunting, fishing, and watching his sons play baseball. Dennis has served on the Madison County CASA Board since 2016.
Danielle Jones
Danielle has a BA in Criminal Justice from Lane College and Master’s in criminal justice from Bethel University. She has worked with Jackson Police Department for 19 years, and for the last 16 years has worked with child abuse victims and domestic and sexual assault victims. Danielle is a Task Force Agent with Tennessee Bureau of Investigations Human Trafficking Unit, teaches Child Abuse to officers of the Jackson Police Department, serves as an adjunct professor for University of Tennessee Martin teaching child abuse. She is a graduate of Leadership Jackson 2019 and a Sterling Award recipient in 2018. Currently, Danielle is the Commander of the Safe Hope Center in Jackson which is a partnership with Jackson Police Department, WRAP, West TN Legal Services and the District Attorney’s Office to help victims of Domestic and Sexual Violence. Not only does Danielle enjoy working with children and abuse victims, she also considers it a passion and honor to do so. Danielle joined the CASA board in July 2021.
Kimberly Jones
Kimberly is the Executive Director/System Controller for West Tennessee Healthcare and Entity CFO for Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated serving as 1st Vice President of the Jackson chapter. Other Board affiliations include Boys & Girls Club of Jackson and Tennessee Business ProfessionALZ for the Longest Day (Alzheimer’s Association). Kimberly has served as a Circle of Hope Telethon Volunteer for the Carl Perkins Center, was selected to serve on the Board of Ambassadors for the 2021 Runway for A Cure and is a supporter of many nonprofits in the community. Kimberly was named the 2020 Woman of Achievement by the Jackson Area Business and Professional Women for her achievements in healthcare finance and community involvement. Kimberly joined the Madison County CASA Board in July 2021.
T.J. King
T.J. is a native of McNairy County and a graduate from Austin Peay State University (APSU) with a degree in Public Management with a concentration in Criminal Justice. Prior to T.J.’s law enforcement career, he served as youth director at Lambuth Memorial Church, assistant manager of The Old Country Store, and a child protective services investigator with Tennessee Department of Children’s Services. In 2004, T.J. began his law enforcement career, first with the Martin Police Department as a school resource officer (SRO). In 2008, he transferred to the Madison County Sheriff’s office where he has worked in patrol and as a SRO. T.J. currently oversees the Criminal Investigations Division Violent Crime Unit. T.J. has attended the Southwestern Leadership Academy In Chattanooga and is a graduate of the 261st Session of the FBI’s National Academy. T. J. joined the Madison County CASA Board in July 2021.
Kay Montgomery, MSSW, LAPSW
Kay Montgomery, a native Jacksonian is an adjunct professor in the school of social work at Union University. Kay is a LAPSW (Licensed Advanced Practiced Social Worker) and holds a Masters in Science in Social Work from the University of Tennessee. She retired from the Tennessee Department of Children’s Services after 31 years and has enjoyed teaching at Union University since then. Kay has served on the Madison County CASA Board since 2019.
Chrystal Pittman
Chrystal Pittman is the Director of Internal Audit at Jackson State Community College. A native Jacksonian, she is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and holds an MBA from the University of Tennessee and a BBA from Lambuth University. Chrystal previously served as a child mentor for the Friend to Friend organization and believes that the CASA organization is an important service for the Jackson community. Crystal joined the Madison County CASA Board in July 2021.
Stephanie Riley
Stephanie Riley is the Founder & Brand Strategist at B3 Creative Agency, a company that focuses on making music tourism rock in cities we love. Stephanie is a 2011 graduate of Leadership Jackson and has been involved with various nonprofit organizations in the area. A West Tennessee native, Stephanie is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Martin where she currently serves on the Alumni Council. Stephanie joined the Madison County CASA board in July 2021.
Nina Seiler
Nina received a B.A. in English and Psychology from the University of Mississippi, and her J.D. from the University of Mississippi School of Law. Nina began practicing law in Jackson in 2001, first with the Public Defender’s Office, and since 2005, with the Office of the District Attorney General. Nina currently serves as an Assistant District Attorney in Madison County. Circuit Court, Division III, with Judge Kyle Atkins. Previously, Nina was assigned as the Assistant District Attorney for Juvenile Court. It was during this time that Nina became aware of the needs of juveniles in the court system, particularly the irreplaceable importance of having a stable, loving family environment. According to Nina, “My previous experience compelled me to support the invaluable service that CASA provides to children in immediate need of care and protection.” Nina joined the Madison County CASA board in July 2021.
Linda Theus
Dr. Linda Theus is the Department Chair of Business at Lane College. She has taught at the college level throughout West Tennessee over her long career in education. Dr. Theus is an active member of the Jackson community, serving as a Rise to Read mentor, an Educational Board Member of the Federal Reserve, a former United Way of West Tennessee Board Member, and a 2020 Sterling Award Honoree Recipient. Dr. Theus has served on the Madison County CASA Board since 2020.
Nathan Tilly
Nathan D. Tilly is a Jackson attorney and partner with Pentecost, Glenn, & Mauldin. Nathan graduated from Union University and attended law school at the University of Tennessee College of Law in Knoxville. Nathan and his wife Rachel have two sons and are active members at Fellowship Bible Church. As an attorney, Nathan has been appointed in several cases as a guardian ad litem to represent abused and neglected children. While serving as a guardian ad litem, Nathan has found that too often more children need strong advocates to represent their best interests. He hopes that by serving on the board, he will be able to assist CASA in growing and becoming even more successful in advocating for the best interests of the abused and neglected children of Madison County. Nathan has served on the Madison County CASA Board since 2016.
Rema Wilson
Rema has over 25 years working with children and families. Currently, she is the Director of Community Program Quality & Innovation with the Association of Infant Mental Health in Tennessee. Prior to this she was the Family Services Manager for Northwest TN Head Start/Early Head Start and also served as Parenting Liaison for the Strengthening Families Program in Tennessee. The Strengthening Families framework is a research-informed approach to increase family strengths, enhance child development, and reduce the likelihood of child abuse and neglect. Rema has a bachelor’s degree from Murray State University and a master’s degree in education from Freed Hardeman University. Rema joined the Madison County CASA board in July 2021.
